The Bianconeri Appoint Ex- Azzurri Manager Luciano Spalletti

The Old Lady have chosen former Azzurri boss Spalletti as their manager for the remainder of the campaign.

The 66-year-old replaces the Croatian manager, who was dismissed after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio recently.

Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint following a string of eight matches without a victory.

Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 then moving on to lead the Italian national team, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland.

Nonetheless, Italy dismissed Spalletti in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.

Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla in the midweek 3-1 triumph over Udinese placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points adrift of Napoli at the top after nine rounds.

Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
